Union City Family Center Manager

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Union City Family Center (UCFC), administer, plan, coordinate and conduct activities related to all UCFC programs including after school programs, academic interventions, youth development program, and parent and community engagement; assist with planning, coordinating, or overseeing the UCFC family resource center; coordinate and collaborate with site and District personnel to facilitate UCFC initiatives including grants, and school site delivery of UCFC services to students.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Plan, coordinate and conduct activities related to UCFC 21st CCLC after school and summer programs
  • Assist with supervision and evaluation of UCFC after school site program managers and staff
  • Provide staff development for UCFC staff
  • Collaborate with sites to oversee grant funded academic interventions and ensure grant deliverables are being met
  • Work directly with youth and outside partners on conceptualizing, designing and implementing a youth center and youth leadership project
  • Plan, coordinate and lead community engagement activities
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee the operation of a family resource center
  • Work closely with UCFC partners to leverage services for students and families
  • Develop and oversee data collection for various UCFC projects
  • Organize, compile, and analyze data collected for state, federal, or grant reporting purposes
  • Prepare necessary reports and presentation materials
  • Assist with fund development
  • Operate a variety of office equipment including a computer and specialized software including desktop publishing, charts and graphics, word processing and spreadsheets
  • Perform related duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Any combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of experience in instructional leadership, community development, or non-profit program implementation; valid teaching credential preferred.

  • Management Salary Range 37/1-5
  • 215 day work year
