Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) Membership

Proposition 39, passed by California voters in November 2000, allows property tax increases to pay for school facility bonds by a 55% vote rather than the required two-thirds vote of the local constituency. As a requirement of Proposition 39, school agencies are to establish a Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC).

In March 2015, the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee for Measure M was formed. Among the goals of the Committee is to assure the community that bond funds are expended, consistent with the district’s bond resolution.
