On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, the District held an Informational Meeting regarding the revising of its trustee area boundaries. Kay Montplaisir, a representative from Redistricting Partners, shared a presentation that summarized basic redistricting principles, explained the impact of the 2020 Census data, and shared draft maps that would meet the District’s obligation to balance the trustee areas. The draft maps will be shared at a public hearing on Tuesday, April 12, at 5:00 p.m., in the Boardroom of the Educational Services Center located at 34200 Alvarado-Niles Road. The public hearing will also be broadcast via Zoom. Spanish, mandarin, and Tagalog translators will be available. To register for that meeting, please click here.
