Update 6/2/2020:

Online Enrollment for New Haven Unified is now available using the application called SchoolMint.  Information and the link to apply online is located at the  ON-LINE ENROLLMENT  page.

 

Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Orientation Information

Due to our schools being closed, Spring Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Orientations were cancelled.  In lieu of those live orientations, our school sites have created Virtual Orientations.  Please select the orientation for the school your child will attend in the 2020-2021 school year.  The first day of school will be August 12, 2020 and information from the schools will be mailed to families over the summer.

Two-Way Dual Immersion Programs in New Haven

Spanish:  For the 2020-2021 school year, Searles Elementary School offers Two-Way Dual Immersion classes in Spanish for Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grades.  For more information, please contact Angelica Singson at the Central Enrollment Center for more information.

 

Mandarin:  For the 2020-2021 school year, Guy Emanuele Elementary School Offers Two-Way Dual Immersion classes in Mandarin for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten. For more information, please contact Angelica Singson at the Central Enrollment Center for more information.

 

Transfer Information

Intra-District Transfer:  Families who live WITHIN the New Haven boundries need to enroll into their home schools FIRST.  After being accepted into their home school, they can then apply to transfer to a different New Haven school by contacting the Centralized Enrollment Center.

 

Inter-District Transfer:  Families who live OUTSIDE the New Haven boundries need to:

•Download  this Inter-District Transfer Agreement

•Contact the Centralized Enrollment Center of your intent to apply for the transfer,

•Submit the Inter-District Transfer Agreement to your home district's enrollment department for approval.

 

 

2020-2021 School Year Information

The 2020-2021 school year starts August 12, 2020.  Information about the new school year will be mailed to families over the summer from their child's school.
