ELA/ ELD Instructional Materials (Grades K-5) on Display / Seeking Input
The New Haven Unified School District is in the process of piloting English Language Arts (ELA) and English Language Development (ELD) Instructional Materials for the elementary school level. Two sets of materials have been piloted in our classrooms over the course of this school year, Benchmark Advance and Wonders by McGraw Hill School Education. These materials are now on display at the Educational Services Center (ESC).
We are seeking input and feedback from teachers, parents and community members to assist in informing our selection of materials. Teachers, parents and community members are asked to review these materials. Once individuals have completed their review of the instructional materials, they will be given an opportunity to provide feedback and input.
The materials will be on display at the ESC adjacent to the Technology Lab until March 20, 2018.
If you have any questions or need any additional clarification or information, please contact Hui Stevens, Director of EL Services at firstname.lastname@example.org
